Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the 12Axes test, read a result, or order one of the optional paid reports. By using the site you accept them.

What the service is

12Axes is a free online political profile test. It asks you to answer 36, 60 or 120 statements, scores your answers across twelve axes, and matches the resulting profile against a written library of ideologies, civic traditions and historical figures. Take it as often as you like.

Using 12Axes

• The test and your result are free for personal use, and you can share them.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at volume, or use it to harass anyone — including by publishing someone else's result as though it were theirs.
• Please do not present a result as a formal assessment of a named person, or use it as part of a hiring, legal or clinical decision.

What a result is, and is not

A result describes the answers you gave in that session. It is a structured self-report with published scoring — not a validated psychometric instrument, not a psychological assessment, and not a voting recommendation. It should not be used to judge anyone's mental health, employment or legal standing.

Paid reports and payment processing

The optional paid reports are described in the pricing section of the home page: Personal at $4.99 and Plus at $14.99. Each is a one-time payment for a single report. None is a subscription, and none renews automatically. A third plan, Deep, is shown there as a preview and cannot be ordered yet, so these terms do not cover a Deep purchase.

Paid orders are currently arranged by email. When the checkout is live, payment and subscription processing will be handled by Waffo, our payment provider. Your card details are processed by Waffo; 12Axes does not store your full card number. See the Privacy Policy for what we receive from the processor.

Delivery

Paid reports are digital. An order is placed by email from the pricing section, and the report is delivered as a private link, sent to the address the order came from. If a link does not arrive or will not open, write to us and we will reissue it — the report is generated from the twelve scores in your result, so nothing is lost.

Cancellations and renewals

There is nothing to cancel today: paid reports are single payments, there is no repeat billing, and 12Axes has no customer accounts to close. If a subscription is ever introduced through Waffo, the billing period, renewal price and the steps to cancel will be published on this page before it goes on sale, and cancelling will not require contacting us.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Availability and changes

The test is provided as it is, and we may change statement sets, axis definitions, the library or these terms as the project develops. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If a change materially affects a paid order, we will say so before applying it to that order.

Liability

The site and the reports are provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a result. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
